NBA도 아이티 지진 피해자 지원에 나서

지난 2010년 1월12일 오후에 발생한 아이티 지진은 리히터 지진계에서 7.0을 기록한 강진이었습니다. 이 지진은 카리브해안의 아이티 수도를 강타했고 10만 명이 사망했다고 합니다. 서반구에서 가장 가난한 나라인 아이티는 현재 식수, 잠잘 곳, 의료 시설이 부족한 상황입니다.
(During the afternoon of January 12, 2010, an earthquake, registering 7.0 on the Richter scale, rocked the Caribbean nation of Haiti, causing mass devastation. Haiti, which is the poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere, is in dire need of funds to provide safe water, temporary shelter systems and essential medical supplies.)

NBA는 파트너인 유니세프와 함께 희생자들을 도울 것입니다. 유니세프는 1949년부터 아이티에서 활동했고 약 300만 명의 아이티 주민들에게 빠른 지원을 하고자 합니다. UN 기관의 협력으로 유니세프는 필요한 것을 지원하게 됩니다.
(The NBA is joining forces with our partner UNICEF, who has been on the ground in Haiti since 1949, to bring attention to the crisis and much needed emergency assistance to the victims. UNICEF is working to provide immediate support to the estimated three million victims of the unfolding humanitarian crisis. In coordination with other UN agencies present on the ground, UNICEF will provide supplies to allow access to adequate sanitation, safe water and basic health care.)
